We have transcended the idea of Tribelt being just a production company solely manufacturing belts. Due to our years of experience with producing metal belts we of course know a lot about the technique concerning the manufacturing process and use of conveyor belts. We gladly provide you of this knowledge in order for you to gain the best solution for your situation.
Technical Calculations
The conveyor belts leaving Tribelt’s factory are in most cases intended to serve in equipment of our customer. The belt will be part of a complex dynamic system in which the interplay of forces is very important for the life span of the belt.
Based on a divers set of variables, both coming from the design of the belt and the installation, we are able to carry out a model based analysis of these forces. As a result we are able to argument whether or not the belt is theoretically suitable for the intented application.
Material Knowledge
Tribelt has, because the conveyor belts of Tribelt are known for its diverse applications, a broad offer of types of materials. With our knowledge of these different types of materials we are able to support you with making the right decision concerning the choice of material. Examples of materials which are commonly used are: 1.0304 (non processed steel), 1.1211 (non processed spring steel), 1.4301 (SS-304), 1.4310 (SS-302 / SS-spring steel), 1.4401 (SS-316) en 1.4404 (SS-316L).
We can also satisfy your demands of materials when talking about more advanced applications. In order to give you an idea of the exotic materials we use, a selection follows with types of materials which are being used for specific applications:
1.4016 (SS-430), 1.4541 (SS-321), 1.4828 (SS-309), 1.4835 (253MA), 1.4841 (SS-310/SS-314), 1.4845 (SS-310S), 1.4864 (SS-330/Incoloy DS), 1.4878 (SS-321H), 2.4633 (Nicrofer 6025HT), 2.4816 (Inconel 600), 2.4851 (Inconel 601) en 2.4869 (NiCrV).
From our worldwide network of suppliers, we are able to access the most exotic materials. We nevertheless gladly exchange, before you have made a choice, thoughts with you, because besides the technical choice, commercial aspects are relevant as well. The duration of delivery and a minimum of order quantities could for example have a significant influence on special alloys.
Material certificates are delivered together with all types of materials. Our intern registration system even enables us to reduce which material certificate belongs to your product. When desired, we could make a copy of the material certificates and deliver it (standard) together with the products.
It is of course possible that you are put up with an existing (possible defective) belt of which you do not know from which material it is made. In such cases we have the possibility to make an analysis of the material of the product in order to determine which basis material is required for a replacing belt.
In case you would like to know more about the materials we use or about the above mentioned services, please contact our sales team.
3D designs
Within a technical working environment drawings are possibly the most important means of communication. For this reason, drawings are each day, constantly being made, at Tribelt. These drawing could be drawings of products, however as well drawings for supportive implementations such as, laser cutting contours, jigs, stamps, tools, etc. This process takes place with the aid of probably the most advanced ‘’3D modelling software’’ that exists, SolidWorks’16 of Dassault Systems.
Product development and samples of belts
The technique being assimilated in conveyor belts, originated many years ago. However, the fact remains that we are still, every day, driven to develop these techniques further and further. These developments arise when we meet our customers in order to gain, together, a solution for the customer’s problem.
We try to analyse your problem and seek for an appropriate solution. Next to that, we are capable of producing a sample of the intended belt. This allows you to test the belt within the appropriate installation.
It could of course also be the case that you want to reproduce an existing belt. When this is the case we ask for a sample of the particular belt. On the basis of such a sample we can check and verify different features. We are, subsequently, able to determine whether we can produce the belt identical and thus even ‘linkable’, or whether there are other suggestions for improvement.
Toolshop
Tribelt has their own toolshop at her disposal. Significant investments have been made in this toolshop the previous years. Due to the availability of our own cutting and die-sinking equipment we are able to manufacture the required tools and dies ourselves. Hereby, we can ensure short durations of delivery and we are able to respond quickly to a stagnated production as a consequence of a broken or worn tooling.
The toolshop produces solely for internal customers which causes the availability to be very high and the lead time to be short. Besides, it offers the possibility to offer customers very customer specific products against sharp prices.
