When chain drive is desired, another belt type than a basic belt is chosen. These are at the sides provided of hollow bolt chains. This is realized by means of connection cross rods. In certain cases, when connection cross rods are used, it is possible to extend the cross rods of the basic belt.
Type1000T: KE sprockets wheels belongs as well to Tribelts delivery program.

More info

  • – Take a look at ‘’common versions’’ for different belt overlay possibilities
  • – Both, a home made chain, as well as a standard chain is possible.
  • – Longitunal pitch chain: 12,7 up and until 75 mm
  • – Material chain: 1.0304 (non processed), 1.4301 (SS304), 1.4401 (SS316), 1.4541 (SS321)
  • – Connection rods: up to ø 12 mm, at a larger diameter possibly a drum with axles
  • – Temperature range: ambient up to approximately 500°C
  • – Range of the width of the belt: in consultation with our sales team
  • – Possibility to install special product carriers
  • – Heightened side guards are a possibility
  • – Possibility to attach van cross flights Chains are unnecessary with positively driven belts. A type 1100: OGB-L is in fact one wide chain whereby the drive force is divided equally around the whole belt. Therewith, Type 1100: OGB-L is a much more stable belt when compared to a belt being driven by ‘’just’’ two lateral chains.

The KE belts are characterised by:

  • – Drive on the basis of sprockets wheels; no chance on belt slip
  • – Straight belt run is guaranteed by the positioned sprockets and due to the fact that chains are always stretched ‘’purplelike’’.
  • – Preferred support: herringbone motive with a PE-1000 contact surface
  • – Large passing range, from very closed to very open
  • – No steering is required since the belt is positioned by sprocketss
  • – A KE-belt may never be put under (large) post-tensioning
  • – When realizing a good belt, the combination of load – width – cross rod thickness should always be geared to one another
  • – Depending on the rods of the chain, a ‘’polygon-effect’’ will occur at the intake and at the reverse
  • – With KE-belts with a WG-overlay, the WG-overlay will never be tensioned entirely tight since the chain determines the longitunal pitch dimension

Chain belts are used for different applications. The most familiar are:

  • – Bake/fry ovens
  • – Grill tunnels
  • – Freezing systems
  • – Shrink-wrapping tunnels
  • – Belts in feed conveyors (often in combination with cross flights and side guards)
